White House Fellowship

All Majors

Deadline: February 1

The White House Fellowship is a highly competitive opportunity to participate in and learn about the Federal Government from a unique perspective

The work assignment provides the Fellow the opportunity to observe closely the process of public policy development and to come away with a sense of having participated in the governmental process as well as having made an actual contribution to the business of government.

Fellows typically spend a year working as full-time, paid special assistants to senior White House Staff, the Vice President, Cabinet Secretaries and other top-ranking government officials. Fellows also participate in an education program consisting of roundtable discussions with renowned leaders from the private and public sectors, and trips to study U.S. policy in action both domestically and internationally.
