Doctoral dissertations grant recipients are reviewed and reviewed and recipients selected twice a year at the annual International and mid-year meetings of the The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). The IIA is a worldwide organization representing the internal auditing profession in government, business, industry and education. The IIA has more than 80,000 members in over 200 local chapters, national institutes and audit clubs throughout 100 countries. Grant award amounts vary between $1,000 to $10,000.
